We are currently seeking reliable and physically fit Grounds Maintenance Workers / Gardeners to join the team at Burswood Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to work outdoors in a well-supported environment, helping maintain one of Perth's premier parklands.

Key Responsibilities



General gardening and grounds maintenance duties



Hedging and pruning



Brush cutting



Whipper snipping



Blowing and clearing pathways



Maintaining public open spaces to a high standard



Working safely and effectively as part of a team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:



Hold a valid Driver's Licence (Essential)



Hold a White Card (Essential)



Be physically fit and capable of performing manual outdoor work



Be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions



Be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic



Have good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions

Highly Desirable Experience

Experience in any of the following areas will be highly regarded:



Horticulture



Parks and Gardens Maintenance



Landscaping



Public Open Space Maintenance



Local Government Operations



Ride-on Mowers and Small Commercial Mowers



Horticulture Qualification/Certificate

Working Hours

Summer



6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Winter



7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Uniform & PPE Requirements



Long Hi-Vis Shirt



Long Work Pants



Steel Cap Safety Boots
